Sadly we have learned today that former Yorkshire Darts Organisation
Chairman, Peter Convey, passed away earlier today after a long illness
Peter had been involved with Yorkshire from the start, firstly as a player and
then later on as an official before holding the post of Chairman for many years.
Even when his health forced him to retire, he tried not to miss any Yorkshire
home matches, gladly sitting on the door and greeting everyone, whether it be
someone from Yorkshire or the away team who had known him for many years.
We would like to send our condolences to Peter's family and friends. He may have
left us but the memories stay with us.
