The online entries facility has now shut for the 2013 England Open, however
anyone still wishing to play can enter at Bunn Leisure by 7pm Friday night, at
this stage there are the following entered :

19th June - KEEP IN TOUCH WITH NEWS DIRECT
FROM THE ENGLAND OPEN
If you are going to the England Open and you have a smart phone with a QR
Scan app (as seen above), you will be able to use it to get quick access to all
the relevant draws at Bunn Leisure.
For those people who are not going, updates will be available via a link on this
page all weekend, albeit it could be up to an hour behind in the early stages,
pending results.
Also selected matches will be streamed live from Bunn Leisure on Saturday from
the Mens and Ladies singles , plus all the finals on Sunday afternoon.
18th June - ENGLAND OPEN UPDATE
The online entries will be shut at midnight on Thursday night, entries will
be accepted on Friday at the venue.

- TRINA GULLIVER MBE
England Darts Organisation would like to
congratulate Trina Gulliver on being awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the
British Empire) in the Queens Birthday Honours List.
Trina's citation reads "Female World Darts
Champion. For services to Darts and to charitable fundraising"
8th June - HAMPSHIRE DARTS EVENTS RESULTS
The Hampshire Darts Organisation have had a
busy time with the staging of both the Mill Rythe Festival and their Hampshire
Open, once again EDO Ranking Points were at stake.
The EDO are pleased to see that resident MC,
Richard Ashdown and one of our main sponsors, Winmau, have joined forces.

for the England Masters that will be played at Pontins Southport from the 12
- 14 July are now online.

19th May - ENGLAND OPEN UPDATE
The past week has seen a big
increase in the entries for the 2013 England Open, click on the link above
to see a full list, we would also urge everyone who is going to enter the
England Open to do so asap, it makes our pre tournament work a lot easier.
If you are still looking for accommodation
call Bunn Leisure on 01243 606080 and you may get a late cancellation, also
don't forget even if you can't stay on site you can still pay just £5 per
day to come on site and still play in all the events.
The Friday opening day will be a busy start
as at 4pm the Early Bird competition starts the weekend off, this is a
restricted entry event with a £25 entry fee and a £1,000 first prize. At 7pm
the Ladies Darts Organisation will be using the Solent Bar for their Ladies
Festival of Darts event, there are only 12 places left in this. Then at 8pm
we will be holding a cash event for anyone to enter.

25th April - CHANGE TO ENGLAND WORLD CUP
SQUAD
Unfortunately Martin Adams has had to withdraw from the England Word Cup
squad.
The England Selectors are very pleased to announce that Stephen Bunting will
now join Glen Durrant, Tony O'Shea and Scott Waites in the Mens Team when
they travel to Canada later this year.

22nd April - ENGLAND ANNOUNCE WORLD CUP
SQUADS
The England Selectors have picked the squads to represent England at the WDF
World Cup to be played in Canada at the start of October.

We would like to congratulate them all on their selection and wish them the
best of luck as they attempt to retain both the Cups that we won in Ireland

20th April - CONGRATULATIONS LITTLE RICHARD
The EDO would
like to congratulate Richard Ashdown on becoming the new MC for the BDO.
Richard has been
England's MC and referee since we started in 2007 and anyone who has seen
'Little Richard' in action will know that the BDO have got the right man for
the job.
We wish him the
very best of luck with this new role and also look forward to working with
him at all our England events in the future.
England Girls - Boys - Ladies - Men are all
CHAMPIONS
We would like to wish the England squads (youths and seniors) the best of
luck in the British Internationals which start tomorrow night in Glenrothes,
Scotland.

- LINCOLNSHIRE OPEN
We are sad to learn today from the Lincolnshire Darts Organisation that due
to the closure of their County venue, Rileys in Lincoln, they have had to
cancel the Lincolnshire Open due to be played on Sunday 31st March.

- LADIES DARTS ORGANISATION FESTIVAL OF DARTS
With today being International Women's Day we would like to confirm that the
Ladies Darts Organisation are holding a singles event on Friday 21st June as
part of the EDO's England Open weekend.
The event will be open to a maximum 96 players and will start at 7pm in the
impressive Solent Bar at Bunn Leisure.

The Directors of the EDO are pleased to announce that a deal has been agreed
with Pontins for the 2013 England Masters to be played at their Southport
site from the 12-14 July.

weekend will include Ladies and Mens Singles (both of which will have BDO &
EDO points), plus the England National Singles and the Northern heat of the
Winmau World Masters, full details will be posted on this page as soon as
everything is finalised.

- EDO RANKING POINTS AVAILABLE AT SOUTHPORT OPEN
The latest opportunity to gain EDO Ranking points will be at this weekends
